We believe the best travel app experience starts with knowing you better and allowing you to introduce yourself to our community, if you want to.

This week we shipped a simple and short onboarding flow which allows you to tell us who you are, how you would like to be seen, and most importantly which languages you speak. Language defines your travel experience the most, that's why we believe it's a key ingredient for finding the best Stays or Things to do along your Away's journey.

This week's deliverable is the authentication flow for Planaway. Auth is the foundation for allowing a smooth travel booking experience by learning from your habits and preferences. To keep the friction low, we added micro animations on each step to make this interaction as enjoyable as possible.

The available login methods change based on your device, but for now we support sign ups via Google, Apple, Facebook and Email. And if you forgot which method you used, we simply merge your profiles automatically based on your email addresses. So today you log in with Apple, and tomorrow with Google - it doesn't matter, as long as you use the same email address on those accounts.
